Privacy Policy

ScrubGuard is operated by Executive Edge, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the ScrubGuard API and website collect and why.

Text and JSON you send to the API

Text, prompts and JSON sent to /v1/scrub, /v1/scrub-json and /v1/rehydrate (including any token vault you send back) are processed in memory to produce the response. We do not write that content to disk, a database or our logs, and we do not use it to train models.

What we do keep

Free tier: no account. To enforce the daily limit we keep a counter keyed by a one-way hash of your IP address and the date. Raw IP addresses are not stored by our code, and the counters expire.
Pro subscribers: the email address you give at checkout, your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, your API key record and its usage counters. We use these to deliver and check your key, enforce your quota and handle billing and support.
Support email: if you write to us, we keep the conversation to answer you.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the API and website. Like any web host, it may keep standard request logs (such as IP address, time and URL) for a limited time for security and operations.
Stripe processes payments. Card details go directly to Stripe and never reach us. See stripe.com/privacy.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Security

The API and website are served only over HTTPS. Stored records are kept in Cloudflare's encrypted storage, and access to the hosting and Stripe accounts is limited to the operator. Webhooks from Stripe are checked with signed secrets before they are trusted. No system is perfectly secure, so tell us at scrubguard@fastmail.com if you find a problem.

How long we keep it

Subscriber records are kept while your subscription is active and afterwards only as long as needed for billing, tax and legal records. Free tier counters expire on their own.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing scrubguard@fastmail.com. We will reply within 30 days. Records we must keep by law (such as payment history) may be retained.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and its effective date.
